Trains, Planes & Automobiles
Located in the heart of the United States, Chicago is often thought to be the most accessible city in the country. The city boasts two major airports, including one of the world’s busiest—O’Hare International Airport. It lies at the intersection of the busiest interstate highway system in the nation. Amtrak services Chicago with 50 trains arriving and departing from the city daily. Whether arriving by plane, train or automobile, your travel to Chicago will be extremely convenient.
Airports
O’Hare International Airport handles more passengers than any other airport in the world with service from over 30 different airlines. Located just 17 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, O’Hare International Airport is accessible via local mass transit lines, regional trains, downtown and suburban shuttles and interstate highways. Most ground transportation access areas are located at the main entrance for each terminal.
Midway Airport is located at 5700 Cicero Avenue, 10 miles southwest of downtown Chicago. The airport recently underwent a major renovation to accommodate the increase of traffic into and out of Chicago. The main lobby at the airport’s center entrance is where the information booth and all vehicle pick-up services are available.

Automobiles
Chicago's early growth was due to the huge railroad hub here. Now that that automobile is king, Chicago still is one of the largest interstate highway hubs in the USA. Over 46 Million people live within 1 day's drive of Chicago.
Biking
Chicago has made it to the Ten Best Bicycling cities in USA by the League of American Bicyclists.
