- W Chicago City Center recently finished a $35 million makeover of the guest rooms and some common areas
- Dark rooms were given new lighting with a dimmer, Earth tones were added to open up the rooms and ceiling heights increased to give the rooms a more airy fee are some of the upgrades.
- Business travelers were also accommodated with 42” flat screen TVs mounted on a retractable arm with a way to connect laptops to the TV.
- The largest fix went to addressing the problem of the nearby El Train noise. All rooms were given soundproofed windows.
